Hyundai Pakistan is Bringing ELANTRA 1.6 Special Edition Display Units to Dealerships Soon
The first display units of the ELANTRA 1.6 Special Edition are expected to arrive at Hyundai dealerships in the coming days.
Hyundai Pakistan has announced that it is bringing the new ELANTRA 1.6 Special Edition display units to local dealerships soon. A confirmed date was not revealed at this point, but the display units are expected to arrive soon across Hyundai dealerships across the country. This will give the general public the first chance to physically go and inspect the vehicle, after it was revealed earlier this year in May 2026.
The Hyundai ELANTRA 1.6 Special Edition is not its latest generation of ELANTRA but a special edition of its previous generation, which is being re-launched in Pakistan with some new features. The launch follows the re-launch of the Hyundai ELANTRA 2.0 Special Edition, which was re-launched last year and was the previous-generation model with upgraded features for buyers looking for a low-budget sedan, below the current-gen ELANTRA Hybrid. Since the 2.0 Special Edition is no longer being offered, the new 1.6 Special Edition will fill the gap left by it.
Deliveries of ELANTRA 1.6 Special Edition have not started yet, but pre-bookings are now live. People looking to buy the car during the first phase can book theirs with a booking amount of Rs. 1,500,000. The ex-factory price is Rs. 6,449,000. The deliveries were originally announced for the end of July 2026; however, they seem to have been pushed a little further as Hyundai is preparing for the display units to arrive soon.
Hyundai ELANTRA 1.6 Special Edition features a 1.6L petrol engine that delivers 126 HP and 155 Nm of torque. It is coupled with a 6-speed automatic transmission that offers four driving modes including: Sport, Smart, ECO, and Normal. The Special Edition brings a lot of features to the table, including Cruise Control, Push Start, Smart Entry, 8-Way powered seats, and black trim material. It also features an electric sunroof, rear AC vents, TETRA LED Auto headlamps with DRLs, and LED Rear Combination lights.
Hyundai Pakistan will bring the ELANTRA 1.6 Special Edition display units to dealerships soon, and a confirmed date will be revealed by the company in due time.
