Petrol and Diesel Prices in Pakistan Receive Another Revision for July 31, 2026

The petrol and diesel price in Pakistan have been increased for July 31, 2026. The petrol price has increased by Rs. 1.09, making the price Rs. 336.15, while the diesel price has been increased by Rs. 2.42, making the price Rs. 390.62. This marks an increase in both fuel types for the next day. The prices will see another revision for this week before the price is locked for the weekend, with the next revision arriving next Monday.

Compared to yesterday, petrol drivers saw minor relief, with prices dropping back to earlier levels after two consecutive drops this week. The price has yet again risen to a new high for this time period. As for diesel prices, the trend continues upward with another increase today and in the past week. Since Pakistan shifted to daily revisions, we have yet to see a decrease in diesel prices.

The new price increase means additional challenges for daily drivers and commercial activities. The small relief provided for petrol cars is now back to its previous price. Truck drivers and construction activities will see an increase in their costs. Farmers will also see their costs rise across the board because most of the farming equipment runs on diesel as well. With the recent price increase, public transport fares will also come under pressure.
