Changan Master Motors Teases NEVO Launch in Pakistan, Its Third Brand in the Country
NEVO could bridge the gap between Changan’s mainstream ICE models and Deepal’s technology-focused electrified lineup in Pakistan.
Changan Master Motors is teasing the upcoming launch of NEVO in Pakistan, marking the arrival of its third brand in the country with its mainstream lineup. Changan operates in China with a three-tier ‘House of Brands’ ecosystem, with AVATR sitting at the top as the luxury tier, Deepal sitting in the middle as the tech tier, while NEVO is the mass-market mainstream tier. Changan is positioning NEVO as its mainstream brand, with multiple Changan ICE vehicles relaunching under the NEVO brand as REEVs or PHEVs.
In the international markets, along with its home market, NEVO offers multiple models like Nevo Q05 (SUV), Nevo A05 (sedan), Nevo A07 (sedan/liftback), Nevo Q07 (SUV), and Nevo Hunter K50 (pickup). Changan has been teasing the arrival of the Hunter K50 pickup truck in Pakistan for some time, so it might be the first offering by NEVO in the country when it finally launches.

Changan Master Motors initially launched in Pakistan with its mainstream Changan brand, offering models such as Changan Alsvin and Oshan X7 in various trims, followed by the entry of its tech-focused brand Deepal, which kicked off its lineup with the S05 and the most recent E07. While it was expected that Changan would launch its AVATR brand next, it seems like Changan is bringing NEVO to the country instead.
NEVO will occupy a more mainstream position than Deepal in the Pakistani market, with the top-tier AVATR taking the highest spot when it arrives later. Unlike Deepal, Changan is trying to target practical families and everyday commuters with NEVO. It makes it easier for ICE users to switch to hybrids without any sort of stress. Some of the vehicles, such as the Deepal L07 and Nevo A07, even share the same platform and wheelbase, but both models cater to different markets with different tech and options.

Changan is very carefully expanding its presence in Pakistan, and with NEVO’s arrival, it could give Changan Master Motors a clearer path to expand its electrified lineup into the mainstream market. So far, Changan’s only offering in the electric segment is the Deepal S05, with both Alsvin and Oshan offering ICE engines. With more people switching to electric or hybrid powertrains, NEVO can make it easier for Changan to penetrate this category with models specially created for this segment. At this point, there is a big gap between Changan’s mainstream ICE models and Deepal’s tech-focused REEV models, and NEVO could be positioned to fill that gap.
Changan has not officially revealed a launch date for NEVO’s launch in the country, but we can expect it to arrive in the country soon now that the company is officially teasing its arrival in Pakistan.
