NEVO Officially Enters Pakistan as Master Changan Reveals Five-Model Expansion Plan
NEVO enters Pakistan with the K50 Hunter REEV as Master Changan outlines plans to introduce five new-energy models across the sedan, SUV and pickup segments over the next three years.
Master Changan Motors Limited has officially launched NEVO in Pakistan, introducing Changan’s third automotive brand in the country and announcing plans to bring five NEVO models to market over the next three years. The launch follows several teasers from Master Changan and begins with the NEVO K50 Hunter REEV, a range-extended 4×4 pickup that becomes the brand’s first model in Pakistan.
Changan operates worldwide as a Global House of Brands, and it is following the same strategy in Pakistan as well. The original Changan and its tech-oriented brand, Deepal, were already present in Pakistan; however, its mainstream EV brand, NEVO, has now been launched in the country as well.
According to Changan, NEVO has sold more than 600,000 vehicles globally since its launch in 2023. The press release also reveals that three NEVO models consistently rank among the top three in their respective segments. The company aims to reach annual sales of 1.5 million vehicles by 2030 globally, making it an important pillar of the Group’s ‘new-energy’ future.
For Pakistan, Master Changan plans to introduce five NEVO models over the next three years, covering the sedan, SUV and pickup segments. The company says its first year will include three new-energy vehicles spanning battery-electric (BEV), plug-in hybrid (PHEV) and range-extended electric (REEV) powertrains. The first of these is the NEVO K50 Hunter REEV pickup, which serves as the brand’s debut model in Pakistan.
Mr. Danial Malik, Chief Executive Officer of Master Changan Motors Limited, also provided a comment saying:
NEVO is our commitment to bring mass electrification to Pakistan by making intelligent new-energy mobility progressive, practical and accessible at scale.
That positioning places NEVO below Deepal in Changan’s brand hierarchy, with the new marque aimed at bringing electrified vehicles into more mainstream segments. Unlike the main Changan brand and tech-oriented Deepal, or the Luxury AVATR, NEVO serves a completely different market. It is built for mass production and daily commuter needs, and it is designed to make advanced electrification accessible to everyday customers. NEVO’s official lineup spans sedans, SUVs, and lifestyle vehicles, offering both battery-electric and range-extended powertrain options.
Master Changan also highlighted its existing footprint in Pakistan, stating that more than 75,000 of its vehicles are currently on Pakistani roads. The company says it ranked as the country’s fourth-largest automobile brand in 2025, supported by a network of 29 dealers across 19 cities.
The launch also moves Master Changan closer to a target announced at PAPS 2025, where the company said it planned to introduce four brands and 11 vehicles in Pakistan. NEVO’s arrival marks another step toward that broader product and brand expansion.
