BYD Pakistan Hints at Upcoming Price Increase, Offers Price Lock Until End of August

BYD customers who complete full payments by August 31 can secure current prices, as the company signals a possible revision across its lineup.

BYD Pakistan and Mega Motor Company have hinted at an upcoming price increase across their lineup, while offering customers a price lock on vehicles fully paid for by the end of August 2026. The latest post details that BYD Pakistan has kept prices the same since the launch of its models in the country, but since then, the Auto Policy 2026 is also at a stalemate, and taxes have increased on multiple things in the auto industry. However, with its latest post, BYD is hinting that a price increase is on the horizon, but all customers who complete full payments in the month of August 2026 will enjoy a price lock and will not need to pay any extra amount on their deliveries.

BYD began operations in Pakistan in 2024 and has so far maintained the prices of its locally offered lineup. Several manufacturers have increased prices of their hybrid, EV and PHEV models in recent months, including Chery, Toyota, Hyundai and Haval. BYD’s latest announcement suggests that the company may now be preparing for a similar revision, although no specific increase has been announced yet.

BYD Pakistan has also clarified that this offer is not limited to customers who are awaiting to fulfil partial payments. The offer is also valid for customers who place fresh orders but complete their payments before the month ends. Customers planning to purchase a BYD model can therefore secure the current price by completing the full payment before the end of August. Earlier this month, BYD also announced that deliveries from its recent shipment of more than 2,000 vehicles had begun, with customers starting to receive their cars.
