Petrol and Diesel Prices in Pakistan Revised for July 24, 2026
Motorists across Pakistan will pay higher fuel prices as the government announces fresh increases in petrol and high-speed diesel rates effective July 24, 2026.
The Government of Pakistan has announced another increase in the price of petrol and diesel for July 24, 2026. According to the latest notification, the new price of petrol is Rs. 331.52 after an increase of Rs. 4.40, while the new price of diesel is Rs. 379.02 after an increase of Rs. 3.62. The new prices will be followed for another day before these are revised again.

Since the start of this week, the government has shifted to daily revisions of prices of both petrol and diesel, and while petrol has seen a much smaller increase, the price of diesel has increased massively. The table below looks at where the price started at the start of the week, and where it has reached now that we are nearing the end of the week.

We still have another day left this week when the prices will be revised. The prices will remain the same on Saturday and Sunday as announced by the government, so it will be interesting to see what the government has planned for the weekend. The prices announced tomorrow will be carried over to the next week, when we will see the next revision.

Another increase in petrol prices means another economic ripple throughout the country.
