Chinese EV Manufacturer Xpeng is Bringing its Next-Gen AI SUV Coupe L03 to Pakistan

The Company is promoting the upcoming SUV through its social media pages but a confirmed launch date is still unknown

Chinese EV Manufacture Xpeng is planning to bring its next-gen AI SUV Coupe L03 to Pakistan based on its recent Instagram posts. While some are teasers, the company has fully revealed the vehicle and announced its name officially, so we know that Xpeng is indeed bringing the L03 to Pakistan. This vehicle was designed under ex-Ferrari designer Juanma Lopez, who has worked on some exceptional models such as the LaFerrari, Lamborghini Gallardo Spider, and Lamborghini Murcielago Barchetta.

The international model of L03 comes with a 520 KM range on its EV setup and has an AWD drivetrain. It managed to reach 100 Km/h in just 4.5s, which is an impressive figure for a vehicle this size. It is one of the few models in the Chinese lineup that ditch the full SUV dimensions and instead offer a sporty fastback design with a slanting roofline that ends with a spoiler at its rear windscreen. It comes with four doors, but the company is calling it an SUV Coupe. The rear features a gorgeous full-width light that presents an elegant profile.

Xpeng Pakistan has revealed that L03 will arrive in two different variants, similar to its global launch. The international market is receiving two different trims. One offers pure-electric, while the other is a REEV, meaning it comes with a motor that charges the battery with petrol and is capable of delivering over 1000 km of range. Obviously, these figures are on paper, but REEVs do tend to deliver exceptional range, depending on driving conditions, better than any other EV type.

Other features revealed by Xpeng for its L03 so far include an exceptionally quiet cabin with over 90% acoustic material coverage and 24 cavity partitions to keep the noise outside. Owners will find around 37 different storage spaces inside the car, which include an 89L ‘frunk’ at the front, a 367L boot, dual-pull pockets in doors, and a 7L storage drawer under the rear seat. The rear seats come in a 40/20/40 split folding spec, which means that the middle of the seats can be folded as well to accommodate longer objects. The rear of the front seats also has built-in seatback mounts where tablets or mirrors can be mounted without the requirement of any external mounts.

Xpeng Pakistan is expected to launch the L03 soon, and it will sit in the compact crossover SUV-coupe category. In Pakistan, it will directly compete with other EVs and hybrid SUVs and sedans such as Deepal S05, BYD Atto 3, Haval Jolion, and Hyundai Elantra. Xpeng will announce a confirmed launch date for the L03 soon.
